eine Preformance zu Weinen und Metal Musik von Project.tgthr / Eevi Kinnunen und Olivia Ronzani

(Deutsche Version in Bearbeitung)
Three performers, one drummer and two dancers, go on a journey to cry while the space fills with metal music. They fake their tears until they make it and hold each other through the cry. Onions, chilies, vibrating flesh and rain coats come in handy while in search for the catharsis - will you join?
Visually and emotionally charged, Metal Tears challenges societal norms surrounding masculinity and emotion from queer perspectives, through dance, voice and live drumming. Project.tgthr works with metal music from queer, anti-fascist and leftist bands and creates original music for the work with drummer Sam Ramer and sound designer Gil Schneider.
In Metal Tears, Project.tgthr continues a practice rooted in dreaming and imagining. Their artistic language - drawing on dance, voice work, and theatrical tools - emerges as a rather maximalist blend of emotionality, dreamlike qualities, and matter-of-factness, infused with humour and self-irony.
